What I do
An ultra-running dentist, you don’t get to see that every day.
Still, for me, it is the perfect combination. The long hours of continuous mental focus translates in a ton of energy when I put on my running shoes on and get into the woods. The more nature, mud, rain, wind… The more I’m in my zone.
What I did
From being a soccer player to being a ultra-runner: it all started because of this rather impulsive decision to partake in the Coast to Coast in New-Zealand. This world championship of multisport takes the contestant on a challenging journey of 243km through the South Island of New-Zealand on foot, by bike and kayak.
During the preparation and the participation I realized my passion for sports which let me to take the decision to focus one year on ultra-running adventure competitions.
Where I live
Born and raised in a sports oriented family in Waregem, Belgium.
Currently I’m resided in Ghent, Belgium.
